What is the FHAPAC
FHA
established the FHAPAC in 1976 to organize political action on behalf
of hospitals. FHAPAC is a voluntary, non-profit and non-partisan
organization regulated by the Florida Department of Elections.
Contributing to the FHAPAC is Easy
Through
your investment in the FHAPAC, the voice of the hospital community can
be heard in Tallahassee and Washington. Your contribution
will ensure that the hospital message will not be overlooked by candidates
for state and federal office. your contribution will be used to recognize
those candidates that best understand the pressures hospitals face and
support our mission of delivering quality care to our patients.
Who may contribute to FHAPAC?
Any employee, trustee, or volunteer of a Florida hospital may join FHAPAC
as a personal member. Investor-owned organizations may join as institutional
members.
Reporting Requirements
All contributions to FHAPAC are voluntary and you may choose not to contribute.
Federal and state laws require FHAPAC to report the name, mailing address,
occupation and the name of the employer of individuals whose contributions
exceed $100 in a calendar year.
